Rock Jungle’s Adult Programs are Open for Registration!

Whether you’re just starting out, looking to up your training, or looking for a group to climb with, this is for you! With 3 tiers to cover all skill levels, our programs will teach you new skills and techniques to help bring your climbing to the next level.

Note that the programs are 10 weeks in duration and have varying requirements. For the duration of the program you receive a full membership to both Rock Jungle Fitness and Rock Jungle Boulders! Members receive 10% off retail.

Fundamentals of Climbing

The objective of this course is to build a well rounded base in the fundamentals of movement and technique, to build confidence, strength, and patience in climbing, and see how fun climbing can be!  Over the course of 10 weeks, we’ll work through fundamental climbing techniques, learn proficiency in top roping, and start building strength through light bodyweight workouts. 

Prerequisites: No previous experience necessary, and although all needed equipment is included in the price, we recommend having your own climbing gear (climbing shoes, harness, belay device, & chalk bag). 

Learn to Train for Climbing

For climbers who are comfortable on the wall and want to project higher levels, this program will focus on honing technique, building strength, power, and endurance, and targeting weak areas.  Through the 10 weeks, we will review and build on basic climbing techniques, incorporate more climbing drills, build strength through simple workouts, and get you set to further your own development on your own. We will be using both the bouldering and top rope walls. 

Prerequisites: Previous experience is advised as this program builds upon basic technique and strength. Having your top rope check/tag is recommended as we want to focus on building skills and we will not be teaching it in the course. If you do not have your top rope check/tag (please specify upon booking) but have the fundamentals of bouldering, we will give 50% off of belay fundamentals on any of the dates before the course. (Belay fundamentals will then cost $25 and can be done every second Monday or Friday.) 

We recommend having your own climbing gear (climbing shoes, harness, belay device, & chalk bag) but you may pay to use our rental equipment. 

Train for Climbing

Looking for a program a little more intensive and often? This program will add onto our Learn to Train program with the addition of a second class on Thursdays. The first class will be with the Learn to Train program and the Thursday class will have a different set of exercises. You may choose either Monday or Tuesday as the class content will be the same. Please make your selection upon booking.
